Samsung Galaxy S7 sensor buttons - no function - test

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has left and right next to the Home Button sensor buttons, which are used with the menu and back function. If you find that they do not have a function on your Samsung Galaxy S7 and you cannot use the Smartphone properly then please test them whether there is a defect in the hardware.

This can be done simply as follows:

  1. Display service menu in Android Nougat

Open the phone app and enter the following numeric code using the keypad:

  • *#0*#

Then you will see the test menu, in which you now please select "Sub Key". Tap the menu button and the display should turn orange. Tap the Back button and the display should change to pink.

If this is the case, then your Samsung Galaxy S7 sensor buttons work flawlessly. If not, there is a defect.

  1. Deleting Android OS temporary files

If everything works in the Service menu, but not on the Android interface, you must now perform a Wipe Cache partition. This can be carried out very simply and without the deletion of data following the following instructions:

  • Wipe Cache Partition in Android Nougat on the Samsung Galaxy S7

You now know how you can test whether the sensor sockets of the Samsung Galaxy S7 have a defect or what You can do to get this back to running
