Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Disable LED while charging

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has of course a so called Notification LED. This LED lights when you receive new messages or as well while charging the smartphone. Especially when charging the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 LED lights steady red and indeed until the device is fully charged. The most users charge theire phones overnight. Here the illumination of the red LED on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 can disrupt sleep.

If this is the case with you, then we would like to explain you how to deactivatethe notification LED on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 when charging. For this you have to navigate in the following Android settings menu:

Open on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Menu --> Settings --> Display --> LED indicator

You now find various options for the notification LED of your Samsung Galaxy Note 4. One of this options is called "Charging". If you remove the tick in the checkbox, the Notification LED will no longer light up red when your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 gets charged.

You know now how to turn off the red lights of the LED on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

I went to the settings and turned it on and off. my red light will not turn on while charging low battery and or green light when fully charged. It just had an update also.

My Note 4 only gives you the check box for the LED to turn on or off. I don't see where it gives you options. I guess the other lights will have to stay off so the red blinking light when fully charged doesn't happen.
