# Tip4: Wipe Cache Partition
Performs a Wipe Cache partition. This will not delete any personal data on your device, but only old temporary system files.
A Wipe cache can be done on the Samsung Galaxy S8 following instructions. https://www.solvemix.com/index.php/android-smartphones/1508-samsung-galaxy-s8-wipe-cache-partition-how-to-do
