Samsung Galaxy S9 Move App to Micro SD Memory Card

Over time, your Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will accumulate apps that you may not need every day. Here it makes sense to store these apps, or the data of the apps, on the Micro SD memory card.

How you can transfer an app to the microSD memory card is what we would like to tell you here:

Navigate as follows:

  • Start screen --> Settings --> Apps

Now look for the app where the app data should be moved to the Micro SD memory card.

Select it and you will see more app information. Select "Memory" here.

Under "Memory" used select now the button "Change".

You can now change the storage location from "Device memory" to "SD card". Done!

The following MicroSD memory card is perfectly suited for the smartphone, as it has a sufficient writing and reading speed:

  • MicroSD memory card

You have now transferred the app data of a certain app to the microSD memory card.

This means more space is available on the internal memory of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
