Samsung Galaxy Note 4 S-Translator not available - Solved

If you are looking within the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for the S-Translator, which you may know from a previous Samsung smartphone, then you will not find this app. The reason is: Samsung has not added all applications by default to the firmware of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. But you can find and download the app S-Translator from the App Market "Galaxy Apps"

Thus, to be able to use the S-Translator on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, you need to download this first. We show you how to do it:

Open the menu on your phone and then the app "Galaxy Apps". It will now open the Market of Samsung. Requirements are that you own a Samsung account and that you are connected with the Internet. Without an account, you can unfortunately not download apps from the "Galaxy App Market".

Now, if you're in the Galaxy Apps market, you will see in the middle of the screen three tabs: Recommended, For Galaxy and Top. Tap here now on "For Galaxy" and further on "Galaxy Essentials". You can now download here many different free apps for your Samsung Galaxy Note 4. In addition to the S-Translator you can find here also the story album, the Optical Reader, Samsung Watch on and a lot more useful apps.

You know now how you can download the S-Translator and other useful Samsung Apps for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

On my S4 I could hold down an sms in Spanish and an option to translate would appear. I just upgraded to any S7 and this feature doesn't exist. Neither does carousel.

Where does the app go after downloaded? The only way I can open it is by using the voice command "ok google, open source translator" I would rather be able to just tape and icon
