Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Get Delivery report for sent SMS messages

You can request so-called delivery reports for sent SMS at the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. This service, which is provided free by your mobile operator tells you whether a text message was successfully transmitted to the receiver. Although the delivery report is no read receipt, but you can be sure that the SMS is received by the smartphone of your contact.

In this article, we now want to briefly explain you how to enable the delivery report for sms on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 within Android.

To do this open from the home screen the "messages" app. Tap within the overview on the top-right icon with the three dots and in the appearing small menu, go to "Settings". This opens a submenu in which you have to tap "SMS" to go to the appropriate settings.

Here you will find now as the first entry "delivery reports". Set a tick in the checkbox behind to request delivery reports for each sent SMS message.

Done! Now when you send an SMS with your Samsung Galaxy Note 4, you will receive a delivery report if this was properly transmitted to the recipient.
