You can install new apps on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 via the Google Play Store or the Amazon App Market. Some of these newly installed apps will most likely be removed from the device at some point or deleted.

Delete App on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 via the App menu
Simply open the App menu from the start screen and tap on the app for a long time, which you would like to delete. A pop-up menu appears. Tap "Uninstall".
Remove App from the Google Play Store
To do so, open the Google Play Store and then navigate to the top left corner of the three-line icon (Hamburger Menu) in the menu. Select "My Apps and Games" here. Uninstall App from the Application Manager
Open the App menu and then: Settings -> Apps
