First you need to unlock the developer options on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. To do this open the app menu from the home screen and then the Settings. Scroll down and select the button "Device Information".
Here you can see a list of different information. One of them is called "build number". Tap here several times in rapid succession on the entry "build number". After the seventh time of Tapping the developer options are enabled in the settings of Android.
After that go back to the list of settings and select "Developer Options". Activate them with the control button at the top right.
The second option within these section is called "Stay awake". Put here a tick in the checkbox. Your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 remains now permanently lit and does not go into standby mode during charging.
