After Android Lollipop update less memory storage available -solved

If you have updated your Android smartphone on the new Android lollipop version, then you may find out that you actually have less memory available as you should have. It could be that you are missing up to 10 GB of storage, which of course should be available. The Update of the new firmware Android lollipop is the reason for that.

As it is always the case with large version jumps of Android, there occur problems after the update. This can manifest itself in different variations. In this case it is the faulty memory display of your flash storage.

To remedy this, you have to perform a so-called factory reset after the update to Android lollipop. With the factory reset all data will be erased on the phone and the system will be reinstalled completely. This also means that the memory of your Android smartphone is again recognized correctly and can also the full store can be used.

You know now why after an update to Android Lollipop less memory than previously is shown and how you can fix this bug.
