This will now lead you into the service menu of your Samsung Galaxy S5. You now see an overview of many tiles. The key for you is the tile with the name "sensor". Tap this and you will be forwarded in a submenu, where you find at the end the following test:
• "Fingerprint Test"

In the column "Result" you should always see the result "Pass". Is this not the case and you can see here a red "Fail", it means that the fingerprint sensor is not working properly.
