Samsung Galaxy S6 Where is the IMEI serial number – solution

The IMEI of your Samsung Galaxy S6 represents a serial number with which the phone can be precisely identified. It is important that you write down the IMEI of your Samsung Galaxy S6 after the purchase, because you can prove with that number that it is your device.

The IMEI number of your Samsung Galaxy S6 can be found with this three methods:

1. Find out the IMEI via the Android system

To do this open on your Samsung Galaxy S6 from the home screen the menu and then the settings. Then tap "Device Information", and then on "Status". Here you can see various information entries of your Samsung Galaxy S6. One of them is "IMEI". You are now seeing your IMEI serial number.

2. IMEI on packaging

If your Samsung Galaxy S6 is not at hand, because it was lost, for example, then take a look at the packaging of the Samsung Galaxy S6. Here the IMEI is also written on a sticker.

3. Show IMEI via service code

You may also display the IMEI by a service code. To do this, open the phone app and then the keypad. Now enter the following code: *#06#

You now know three ways to get the IMEI serial number on the Samsung Galaxy S6.

I bought a S6 via Geekbuying.com which worked in Switzerlad for me till I got frustrated trying to clean 2048K crap form tencents off of it and did a factory reset. Since then, does not work and Salt (Orange CH) and Samsung CH are decidedly rude...

I bought a S6 via Geekbuying.com which worked in Switzerlad for me till I got frustrated trying to clean 2048K crap form tencents off of it and did a factory reset. Since then, does not work and Salt (Orange CH) and Samsung CH are decidedly rude and unhelpful. Believing it has a blocked IMIE till today I see with *#06# that the IMIE is blank. Is this repairable ?
