Samsung Galaxy S6 is not recognized via Bluetooth – Tips

If you want to connect a device via Bluetooth with your Samsung Galaxy S6, then it may be that your smartphone is not found, even though you have Bluetooth enabled. The reason is usually that the visibility of the Samsung Galaxy S6 is not released.

If you do not know how the visibility of the Bluetooth connection on the Samsung Galaxy S6, can be shared, then we want to explain that in more detail in this article here:

From the Home screen open the menu and then the settings. Tap the button “Bluetooth”.

Deactivate Bluetooth and then actiavte it again. Because the visibility of your device only is given  a short time after you have activated your Bluetooth connection. After reactivating Bluetooth, your othe device should recognize the Samsung Galaxy S6.

My Samsung S8 has an option under settings that says "Phone Visibility". Please explain what that feature is for and what exactly am I making visible by keeping it on.
