Samsung Galaxy S5 Where are voice memos stored recorded with the voice recorder?

If you use the voice recorder app on the Samsung Galaxy S5 and thus recorded a voice memo, then you might want to know where on your smartphone this sound file is saved.

In this article you will learn where you will find the sound file that was recorded with the voice recorder.

To do this open as first thing from the home screen the menu and then the File Manager "My Documents".

Now there are two ways where you can find the sound file of the voice recorder.

Internal device memory:

To find the file tap on: Device Memory --> Sounds

External Device memory:

To find the file tap on: SD card --> Sounds

You can now find your recordings of the dictation in the following file format: Voicememo.m4a

You know now where to find on the Samsung Galaxy S5 the voice memos you have recorded with the voice recorder app.

I lost my phone Samsung galaxy S5. I use my voice recorder a lot. Phone is gone now and I would like to retrieve my voice notes. I don't think I back-up any voice notes. Is there any way to get it back.
