To do this, open the messages-app on your Samsung Galaxy S5.

If you are in the message list, tap the contact person where the draft is visible. Written text should now be in the text field of the text conversation. In order to delete the draft, tap in the text box and then remove the text with the keyboard. Is the text box blank, the additional text "draft" is automatically deleted in the message list. No, these instructions don't work at all. I've deleted ALL text in my draft text 3 times, close app, and when I look again, the text all re-appears as a draft text as if I'd never deleted it. It's truly crazy-making. Help!

...and, a solution. Go to the blank "Draft" message, hit the "More" menu, select "Discard" (*not* Delete!). Draft message gone?

No! This is not true, unless it broke with the S6. You can delete all you want, and every time you return to the message app the original draft with all of its content will be there!
