Samsung Galaxy S5 How to import contacts from SIM card

If you have organized and saved contacts on your SIM card and you want to transfer these to the Samsung Galaxy S5 these instructions will help you:

We tell you how to import phone numbers with the "Android Contact App" etc. from the sim card to the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Please proceed as follows: Open on your Samsung Galaxy S5 the contact app and then tap on the top right at the three-point symbol. A window appears in which you now please tap "Settings" and then on "Contacts". The next submenu has "Import / Export" as the first menu item. Tap on the entry and you can now choose from several options. One of them is " Import from Sim Card". With this function, you can now import or copy contacts from the sim card to the Samsung Galaxy S5.

After you have selected your listing, you can choose where the contact from the SIM card should be saved. You can select "Device", "Google Account" or "Samsung Account".

 

After you have set the conditions, you can now select the contacts you want to import. Available are all contacts or single contacts.. With checkboxes ahead of the contact they can be selected.

Have you selected the contacts you want to import, tap the top right button "Finish". The contacts are now transfered from the sim card to the Samsung Galaxy S5.

You know now, how to import contacts from the inserted Sim card to the Samsung Galaxy S5 or your Google account.

I know how to do this but I get the error "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped" and it won't let me import / export anywhere

yes i know all these steps in my galaxy s5 g900p is not showing an option (import from sim card) then what can i do to sove this issue? :/
