Opens on the Samsung Galaxy S 6, the app "Google Maps". In this, there are now two ways to save a card offline:
- Save Google Maps via the Info Bar
Search within Google Maps an areawhere you want to back upa map offline on your Samsung Galaxy S6.Place and hold your finger on the display until a check mark appears. There an info bar at the bottom of the screen will be displayed, in which the marked place just appears. Wipe this info bar now simply upward so that it is displayed on the entire screen.
You can now open with the three-point icon in the upper right a mini-menu, in which then the entry “Save offline map" can be selected.
Now you can narrow down the area that you want to save and then start to download the mapwith the "Save" button. This map isthen available offline in Google Maps on the Samsung Galaxy S6.

If you enter in the Google Maps search "OK Maps", then you can directly begin to save the map offline. In general, this variation is faster.
