Samsung Galaxy S5 disable weather on lock screen

When the lock screen is enabled on your Samsung Galaxy S5, you can also see an area which displays the current weather. This is indicated with a small icon and a display for the temperature. If you don’t want to have the weather information at your lock screen displayed when you can disable this. How this works we will now show you in our article:

Open from the Home Screen the menu and then the settings of your Samsung Galaxy S5.

Now, you must tap “lock screen” -> “Additional information” to enter the submenu. In this you have to remove the tick in the checkbox with “weather” to turn off the display of the weather on the lockscreen of the Samsung Galaxy S5. Finish!

From now on you will no longer have the weather be displayed on the lock screen of your Samsung Galaxy S5.

My lock screen shows weather for Kensington, a town in Long Island, when I am in the Kensington neighborhood of Brooklyn. The weather widget on my home page correctly shows the weather for "Brooklyn" as a whole. "Kensington" isn't even among the places in my personal list of available cities. How can I get the info on the two screens to agree?
