If you do not longer want to use the lock screen security method "fingerprint" on your Samsung Galaxy S6, then you must disable the fingerprint sensor on the smartphone. How to disable the fingerprint sensor and how to use an alternative locking method like pattern, pin, wipe or lock Direction, we explain to you here in more detail:

Open on your Samsung Galaxy S6 the menu and then the Settings. Tap here now on:

  1. Lock screen and security
  2. Screen Lock Type

You will be prompted by your Samsung Galaxy S6 to identify yourselfwith your fingerprint. Alternatively, you can also use your "PIN" that you have defined when setting up the fingerprints. Then you are in the menu where you can select an alternative method to unlock the lock screen. The choices are:

  • Swipe
  • Pattern
  • Pin
