Samsung Galaxy S6 Disable background motion effect

The firmware update to Android Lollipop 5.1.1 has returned many different ways to disable or hide certain features of your Samsung Galaxy S6. This includes disabling the background motion effect, also called parallax effect. By the parallax effect the background image moves slightly when you tilt the Samsung Galaxy S6.

In order to disable this effect under Android Lollipop 5.1.1, you must proceed as follows:

Open from thethe start screen the menu and then the Settings. Scroll down and then select "Wallpaper". In this menu you can find now the "wallpaper motion effect" option. As you move the slider to “Off”, this option is disabled on your Samsung Galaxy S6. Finished!

The background image on the home screen will no longer move when tilting the Samsung Galaxy S6. The parallax effect has been successfully disabled on your smartphone.

in wallpapers, youll see disabl motion effect, if its ON, turn it off, if its OFF then turn it on. if it doesnt turn on, click it a few times. also could be a 3rd party app causing it.
