Samsung Galaxy S6 - call ends immediately after dialing

If you call a contact on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and press the call key, then it can happen that after a few seconds the following message appears on the display:

  • Call ended

You wonder now why this is the case with your Samsung Galaxy S6 and what you can do about it. We want you to help you here:

The cause is usually a bad connectivity to your mobile network. This can, for example, always happen when you find yourself in a place where there is no cellular connection. As an an example:
If you go up out of the basement of your house and then want to make directly a call the message “Call ended” can appear.

It is then sufficient in most cases to wait just about 2 to 5 minutes and then make the call. If you do not want to wait that long, then you should try the following:

Pull down the status bar of your Samsung Galaxy S6 and then tap on the button for the "flight mode". This means that all connections are disconnected. Then activate Airplane mode again after about 10 seconds. This will now result in that your phone reconnects to your mobile network immediately and much faster.

It should now be possible to make a call with the Samsung Galaxy S6 without any problems.
You know now, what to do when the message "Call ended" appears on your Samsung Galaxy S6 display.

Had the same problem. On my galaxy s6. When I tried making a call it use to just end the call. Then I found out that this happens if you hide your caller Id. If you say shown my number. Problem should be resolved. Hope this helps.

Here's the solution that worked for me. Have you recently activated ROAM ON when travelling abroad? Have you been unable to make or receive calls since your return? Then you are still on ROAM ON and if you have texted ROAM OFF it has not...

Here's the solution that worked for me. Have you recently activated ROAM ON when travelling abroad? Have you been unable to make or receive calls since your return? Then you are still on ROAM ON and if you have texted ROAM OFF it has not registered. I had to try ROAM OFF multiple times before it registered - then the problem was solved.

This does not work on a Samsung Galaxy 6....maybe you are talking about an s6 edge....there is no "flight mode" in addition to the airplane mode. I can't fix this problem. It said "Wi-fi calling needs connectivity, please turn off airplane mode."...

It said "Wi-fi calling needs connectivity, please turn off airplane mode." If I try with just wifi on alone, it says "Airplane mode on. Turn airplane mode off to make calls. Help!

It only hangs up automiatically when I try calling a specific number, all other calls go straight through. Would it be that the other side has bad connectivity or what??
