The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus has a very powerful camera, with which you can make very nice pictures on the go. However, you can get even more out of your Smartphone with various settings in the Camera menu.
This includes the setting of the file format in which the images, you take with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus are saved. A file format that makes it possible to get the highest quality, since no compression is performed, is the RAW format.
We tell you here, how you can shoot images in RAW format on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
1. Open the Camera app that is installed on your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
2. Tap on "Mode" and then choose the "Pro Mode".
3. Tap in the top left display on the gear icon to enter the Settings
4. Here you can now find the "Save as RAW " option. You can activate this by using the regulator. Your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will now save the pictures twice when taking a photo in Pro mode. Once as usual as JPEG and once as a RAW file.
These RAW files you can then edit very nice with an image editing program like Adobe Photoshop.
With that setting you will get the most out of the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Have lots of fun with it.
