Android 6.0 Marshmallow Changelog - What's New?

Google released its new operating system Android 6.0 marshmallow for Nexus devices, but also smartphones from Samsung, Sony and LG are to benefit from the new software soon.

Improved battery performance: With a faster change into the stand-by or Deep Sleep the battery power should be able to be saved.

Android Pay: The new payment service from Google via NFC will be pre-integrated in Android 6.0 marshmallow.

Tap-to-Wake: by tapping the screen the smartphone can be awaken from the standby. Probably this feature will not be available for all smartphones.

Calculator only via the Play Store: The standard calculator is no longer pre-installed in Android 6.0 pre.

Google Now: By pressing and holding the Home button Google Now can be used anywhere, even in apps.

Automatic backup: Your data if desired, can be secured directly every 24 hours on Google Drive
