Android Lollipop - New symbol circle with line in status bar

If you have upgraded your smartphone to the latest Android software Android lollipop, then it may be, that you see the following icon in the status bar:

  • A circle with a horizontal line in the middle

This symbol means that you have enabled the interruption mode and set it to "none." This means that you will not receive any notifications such as calls, SMS messages, alarm tones etc. on your smartphone.
