If you want to open the Google Play Store on your Android smartphone, then it can happen that you get an error:

"Background Data Disabled : Google Play Store Needs background data to be Enabled."

If you get this error on your Android smartphone in the Google Play Store, then the following option in the Android system settings ha to be enabled:

Open on your Android smartphone: Apps --> Settings --> Data Usage

Tap here now at thethree-point-symbol in the top right corner to open up a small menu. In this menu, you can use the checkboxes to activate or deactivate the options. "Restrict background data" has to be deactivated. Also make sure that you have activated in this menu "Auto Sync data".

Once you have made the settings, the Google Play Store should work again without any problems or error messages.
