Huawei P10 Error 924 in Google Play Store

If you would like to download an app from the Google Play Store to your Huawei P10, or if you are updating an existing application, you may see a 927 error on the display. Downloading or updating an app is no longer possible, which of course is unpleasant.

The cause of this is usually a software problem of the Google Play Store in combination with your Huawei P10. Mostly a new update causes the error, which was not integrated correctly.

We'd like to explain how to fix the 927 bug in the Google Play Store on your Huawei P10. From the home screen of the Huawei P10 please open the main menu and then the Android settings.

In these please go to "Apps". Switch to the "System Apps" tab. You will now see an alphabetical list of all applications installed on Android. Search for "Google Play Store" and tap the listing when you find it.

It will now open a window with various app information. In these you will find a button with "uninstall updates". If you tap this button, all updates to the Google Play Store app will be deleted.

This is equivalent to resetting the Google Play Store app and will solve the issue with the 927 bug on the Huawei P10. Now tap on the field "Uninstall updates".

Restart the Huawei P10 Smartphone and then open the Google Play Store. Hopefully, if you download an app from Market, error 927 will no longer appear on your Android smartphone. If that did not help, then try a wipe cache partition.
