Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 firmware update available

The Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 is currently one of the best bridge cameras out there on the market. As in common with smartphones the first firmware update is now also available for the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. This update brings immediately interesting new improvements we would like to show you briefly in a small changelog here:

The firmware update has the version number 2.0

The following functions are added to your Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 by the firmware update:

    - 4K images mode
    - 4K / 24p / 100Mbps mode for MP4 video recordings
    - Shutter sound has been added to the menu

The most interesting new feature is probably the 4K image mode. With this mode a video sequence is recorded and then images are cut out from it with a resolution of 8 megapixels. Thus you never miss a moment, without capturing it photographically.
The firmware update can be downloaded from the following official Panasonic website: Download Firmware V2.0 for Panasonic Lumix FZ1000

Previously you should read the instructions for installing the firmware update carefully! If you click at the end of the page the "Accept" button, you will see the download link. With a firmware update a lot can go wrong if this is not performed as described. Therefore this update should only be installed if you are familiar with the matter!

We wish you much fun and joy with the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 and the new firmware.
