So we will now show you how to disable the "stay awake" function on the Samsung Galaxy A5.
For this purpose, please navigate from the home screen in the following submenu:

Home Screen --> Menu --> Settings --> Developer Options

If you cannot find developer options on your Samsung Galaxy A5, then they must first be activated. Here it is explained how this works.

You are now in the developer options. Scroll down until you see the option:

“Stay awake – Screen will never sleep while charging”

Now remove the tick in the checkbox to turn this option off.

Finished! When you now connect the Samsung Galaxy A5 to the charger, the display will go out within the screen timeout.
