Samsung Galaxy Alpha Import contacts from Sim Card

If you manage your contacts on the SIM card then you need to transfer these if you change to a new device. In our case, the new device is a Samsung Galaxy Alpha and we show you now in this guide how you import or transfer contacts from the SIM card into the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. This works on Android as follows:

Prerequisite: You have a SIM card in your Samsung Galaxy Alpha inserted, on which all contacts are stored.

Open the app menu and then the contacts app, in which your contacts incl. Phone numbers, addresses, etc. are managed on the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

If you are in the list of contacts, tap at the top right on the three-point icon to open a small pop-up menu. In this tap on "Settings". Next, select "Contacts" and "Import/ Export". It will now open a window on your Samsung Galaxy Alpha in which various import and export functions can be selected.

Tap the entry "Import from Sim Card ". Then you have to specify where the Sim card contacts will be stored on the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Here, for example, the internal device memory can be selected. Then you can see all the contacts that are stored on the SIM card. Tap on "Select All" to select all contacts. Have you made your selection, tap in the upper right corner on "Done".

All the contacts from the SIM card will now be transmitted and stored at the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

You know now how to import contacts from a SIM card on your Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
