Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Transfer images to SD card - Solved

In this tutorial we want to explain you how you can move images from the internal memory to the micro SD memory card on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4. This has the advantage that you can use more space of the internal memory. Moving pictures works easy with the pre-installed Android File Manager "My Files". We explain you now how to move pictures from the internal memory to the SD memory card of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Simply open from the Home screen of your Samsung Galaxy Note 4: menu -> App "My Files"

Tap on "device storage" and then locate the following folder: DCIM / Camera /

Here all the images are stored, you have taken with the camera of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. In order to move the images on the SD memory card, tap at the top right three-point-icon and after that tap at the menu on "Select". You can now either select all the images by setting a hook in the checkbox "Select All"  or make a single selection. For this put a hook in the the checkbox in front of each picture that you want to move to the SD Card.

Once you have made this selection, press again at the top right three-point-icon and then click "Move". Tap Next at "SD Card". You can now use the button below "create folder". Tap the button and name it for example "images SD Card". If the folder is created, open it and then tap at the top right on"Move Here". Ready!

Depending on how many images you have selected, the procedure can take a bit of time.

You now know how to move images from the internal memory of the the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to the SD memory card.
