Opens on your smartphone from the home screen the menu and then the Settings. In this scroll all the way down to the section "Applications" and tap there at "messages. In the next subemno you will find the entry : "Notifications". Select it, and then you will be forwarded deeper in a submenu. You see now the "Pop-Up Display" option.
Erase here the hook in the checkbox to disable the pop-up when a new SMS message comes in.
