If you drag the status bar at your Samsung Galaxy S5 from the top of the screen, you will see different notification fields. This notification fields, also called shortcuts can be customized. How you can customize the notification fields of the status bar on the Samsung Galaxy S5, we show you now.
Open on your Samsung Galaxy S5 the menu and then the submenu "Notification panel". If you are within this menu, scroll down a bit, then you see two areas:
- active buttons
- available buttons
The active buttons represent the key shortcuts, which are displayed to you in the notification bar. The available keys are the shortcuts that you can move into your active keys. To restructure the arrangement of shortcuts or the active keys, you must do the following:
Press and hold a shortcut until this hovers and can be moved. You can now either reorder the new shortcut, or move them to the available buttons. All in all 10 Shortcuts can be stored in the status bar. There are currently 22 different shortcuts available in Android.
