Samsung Galaxy S5 Gmail E-Mails are no longer synchronized - Solved

If you are online with your Samsung Galaxy S5 via Wi-Fi or mobile internet, then you usually have the assumption that e-mails etc. are automatically synchronized. Now it may be that your Gmail mailbox will not be updated and therefore does not inform you about new e-mail messages.

This is obviously unfavorable and therefore we show you here what setting must be enabled that e-mails of your Gmail account on the Samsung Galaxy S5 are synchronized.

Navigate from the Home screen on your Samsung Galaxy S5 to:

Menu --> Settings --> Accounts

Tap here now on "Google" and then at your own Gmail email address. There are now several settings displayed to sync your Google Account. Here you will also find the entry "Sync Gmail ". At the check box behind a hook must now be set to enable this setting.

Then your Samsung Galaxy S5 should synchronize your Gmail messages as usual and notify you when a new email is received.

You know now what setting you have to check if Gmail E-mails are not synchronized at your Samsung Galaxy S5.
