Before you take a photo with the Samsung Galaxy Mini S5 in a quiet location, turn the phone in the vibrate- or silent mode. To do this, pull down the status bar and then tap the icon with the speaker. Your phone is now in vibrate- or silent mode. In this mode, the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini does not make any sounds, when taking a photo.
This trick is unfortunately the only way without rooting to take photos silent with the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini.
Do not forget to switch back to Sound Mode after taking pictures!
