Samsung Galaxy S5 Remove Facebook birthdays from calendar

In addition we show you how to completely disable this automatic synchronization between the calendar and Facebook app.

To do this, please complete the following steps:

1. Disable the synchronisation of Birthdays via the Facebook app

Open on your Samsung Galaxy S5, the Facebook app and within the menu (icon with the three horizontal bars). Scroll down to the section "Help & Settings" and type there on "App Settings". In this submenu scroll down to the bottom and tap "sync contacts". Now mark the entry "Synchronize nothing". The tap on the top right button "Finish" to apply the setting for the Facebook app.

Facebook will now synchronize no more contacts in the calendar app splanner. This is important because otherwise if you delete the Facebook Birthdays, they will be synchronized again automatically.

2. Delete Facebook Birthdays from Android Calendar

Open the calendar app S Planner on your Samsung Galaxy S5 and type within this app on the top-right at the three-point symbol. Then type on "Calendars" and remove here at "Facebook" the hook in the checkbox.

You can now close the app again and restart your Samsung Galaxy S5. After the restart you will have no more birthdays from Facebook in the Calendar appĀ  S Planner displayed.
