Samsung Galaxy S6 always starts in Safe Mode – solution

If your Samsung Galaxy S6 displays at the bottom left a text with "Safe Mode", then your smartphone has been booted into secure mode. In secure mode, only system apps of Android and no third-party apps from the Google Play store will be loaded. The secure mode is intended to help you if a third-party app causes problems. These can then be removed by using the safe mode.

The secure mode is activated with the Volume down button while the Samsung Galaxy S6 boots.

Now it can happen, of course, that your Samsung Galaxy S6 always boot in safe mode and therefore no by third-party apps can be used. The reason for this is mostly a jammed volume down button.

So please check with your Samsung Galaxy S6 the volume-down button for:

  1. Dust or dirt blocking the key and is trigger when you boot the Samsung Galaxy S6
  2. A protective housing clamps a key, which means that the Safe Mode is loaded

If you can´t notice anything, then it is very likely that the electric board is defective and the Samsung Galaxy S6 should be given in the repair. But before you try a factory reset, only to get sure.

We hope that one of the two reasons above is the solution for you and your Samsung Galaxy S6 has no defect.
