Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Disable App Update of the Play Stores

On the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus the Google Play store is preinstalled, via which you can download and install Apps. If you have Apps installed on your smartphone, then they are usually updated automatically by the Google Play store, if a new update of the app was released.

If you do not want the Google Play store to automatically update the apps on your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, then you have to disable this feature called "auto-update". This works as follows:

Samsung Galaxy S6

Step 1: Open the Google Play Store

Step 2: Tap the top left on the three bars to open the menu. Select then "Settings".

Step 3: Tap the menu item "Auto update apps".

Step 4: It opens a window now where the label has to be set to "Do not auto update apps".

Now you will not receive automatic updates of your installed apps on the Google Play Store. You now need to manually update them via the Google Play Store on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
