Samsung Galaxy S6 Force Reboot – Instructions

Sometimes it may be necessary to force a restart at the Samsung Galaxy S6. Mostly you have to force a restart if the Samsung Galaxy S6 does no longer react to button and touch interactions and the display is like frozen.

Reasons for this are varied, but usually depend on an app or Android itself. In general, the Samsung Galaxy S6 can be used as usual after the forced restart. To perform a forced reboot of the Samsung Galaxy S6 proceed as follows:
Press and hold simultaneously the following keys so that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is restarted.

  • Power On/ Off Button
  • “Volume – “ Button

After about 5 seconds, the display will be black. You can now release the key combination because the Samsung Galaxy S6 has now shut down and the system is restarted.

You know now how to force a reboot on the Samsung Galaxy S6 when the Android operating system is not working properly or the screen displays only black color.
