Samsung Galaxy S6 Set Access point manually

Sometimes it may be necessary that you set on the Samsung Galaxy S6 the APN access point manually, since it is the only possible way to connect your phone with the mobile Internet. APN access point means that you define on your smartphone how to establish a connection via the mobile data connection with your mobile operator.

We show you now how to set up an APN access point manually on your Samsung Galaxy S6:

Open from the home screen of the Samsung Galaxy S6 the menu and then the Settings. Navigate to:

Mobile networks --> Access Point Names

In this menu you can now use the "Add" button at the top to set up a new APN access to the Samsung Galaxy S6. It opens a window where you must now enter different settings for your APN access point.

Have you entered all the credentials, scrolls upward and then tap on "More". In the mini pop-up menu select "Save". The new access point with the APN settings is now available on the Samsung Galaxy S6. If not already done, mark the access point you just created as "active".

That´s it. Your Samsung Galaxy S6 should now connect via the just created and activated APN access point to the mobile Internet.
