Some apps can get you pretty much on the mind with their notifications. Fortunately there is on the Samsung Galaxy S8 the possibility to deactivate notifications per app within Android. Below we would like to explain to you how this works.
Disable app notification for individual applications
1. Open the app menu on your Samsung Galaxy S8 and continue to the settings
2. Navigate to "notifications" and then search for the app for which the notification should be deactivated
3. Using the Master slider you can now completely disable the notification for the app
Then you will not get any more info in the status bar of your Samsung Galaxy S8 from this app. You have successfully disabled notifications for the app.
