Samsung Galaxy S8 Disable video optimization - Tip

The Samsung Galaxy S8 offers you to enable video optimization. Most of the time you activate the function the same and then maybe wonder some time later, why the contrasts and the brightness are different, as it is the case for example on another device.

For this reason, you may want to disable video optimization on the Samsung Galaxy S8. If so, then we explain below how to do it:

Samsung Galaxy S8

1. First, from the home screen, open the App menu and then Settings

2. Now select "Advanced Features"

3. Now, scroll all the way down to "Video Optimization" -> disable it now!

You've just successfully turned off video optimization on the Samsung Galaxy S8. Videos will now be displayed as recorded.
