Sometimes you get calls from a contact or a telephone number that are unwanted or disruptive on your Samsung Galaxy S8. You can block these contacts. This works by using a blacklist as follows:
Block contacts and phone number in Android
Open the phone app and then switch to the tab "Last".
Tap the number that you want to block in the protocol. Tap on details "i". You will now see a phone number card. Select the three-point symbol at the top right and "Block number".
Confirm the blocking of the number with "Okay". Finished!
How to block phone numbers using the Calls Blacklist app
Get the following app from the Google Play Store: "Calls Backlist"
Open the app - you can use the plus symbol to select a handset or enter it manually. Using both methods, you can block phone numbers on the Samsung Galaxy S8.
The advantage with the "Calls Blacklist" app is that you can block complete call numbers. Use the "Begin with" button after you tap the plus symbol. You now know how to block unwanted phone numbers or contacts that interfere you with the Samsung Galaxy S8.
