If you want to convert units like area, length, mass, etc., then in the past you had to download an additional app from the Google Play Store. On the Samsung Galaxy S8 one needs that no more because here the unit converter is integrated within the pocket calculator.
This can be used as follows:
1. Open the pocket calculator app on the Samsung Galaxy S8
2. Touch the "Ruler" icon in the toolbar.
3. A window with the possible conversions appears
4. You can now select a physical size and then start the unit conversion.
We find that this is a very useful feature, which should have long been part of the standard repertoire of a Samsung Galaxy smartphone. With the Samsung Galaxy S8, this has finally become a reality.
