The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus has integrated on the back of the housing a very strong LED, which serves as camera flash while taking pictures in the dark. The LED light can also be permanently activated and can therefore be used as a flashlight.
This is a useful feature, because therefore you always have a light source if you are traveling outside. To use the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus as a flashlight, you don’t have to do a lot, because Android has everything you need on board. We show you now, how you can use on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus the flashlight function:
1. Draw the status bar at the top of the screen down.
2. Here you can now see a shortcut for the flashlight feature of your Samsung Galaxy S6. Should you not see this, then tap at the top right on "Edit" to display all available shortcuts on the smartphone display.
3. You can now quickly edit settings for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and place the flashlight function on the active keys section, i.e. the area of the status bar, which can be seen when one pulls down this. That was about it.
By tapping the Quick Launch icon in the status bar of your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus you can now start the flashlight. Disable it by tapping the icons again.
