The Samsung Galaxy S7 has integrated a powerful camera with which you can record slow motion videos. A Slow Motion video takes a scene with an increased number of images per second (FPS).

1. Open on the Samsung Galaxy S7 the Camera app

2. Now tap at the bottom left on "mode" and then select the mode "Slow Motion"

1. Open the app menu and then the "clock" application

2. Navigate here on the "Alarm" section

3. Choose a time where you want to be waked up every day

4. Now tap on the button „options“

5. Here you will now find the option “Snooze”. Set your Snooze Time now.

6. After you made this selection return to the previous screen and tap at the bottom right now on "Save".

From now on the Snooze function on your Samsung Galaxy S7 is activated, that means, that you can use the “Reminder” function, if the alarm clock sounds.

With time the list of connected Bluetooth devices accumulates on your Samsung Galaxy S7. Many of the connected Bluetooth device you may not use, so you want to remove them from the list.

If so, then you can clean up the Bluetooth device list on the Samsung Galaxy S7 as follows.

1. Open the following submenu:

• Home Screen --> apps menu --> Settings --> Bluetooth

2. You will see here the list of paired devices. In order to remove a no longer used device from the list, tap the gear icon and then in the next sub-menu to "decoupling".

3. Done!

Probably you have not known, but the Samsung Galaxy S7 has the "Low energy Bluetooth search" option permanently enabled from the factory. So the Samsung Galaxy S7 recognizes devices that are located in close proximity.

Would you like that your smartphone in any manner cannot establish a connection to other devices, then disable this option as follows:

Open from the start screen of your Samsung Galaxy S7 the menu and then the Settings. Scrolls now down to the section "Connections" and then tap here on "More Connection Settings".

From there proceeds to "Nearby device scanning". Deactivate that option with the slider.

Subsequently Bluetooth Low Energy will no longer be active on your Samsung Galaxy S7 and thus not constantly available to receive data. You know now how to permanently turn off the Bluetooth Low Energy option on the Samsung Galaxy S7.

If you receive emails within the integrated mail app of your Samsung Galaxy S7, then it may be that you are not notified about that. If that is the case, then please check whether the following option is set.

1. Open the e-mail app and then the settings by tapping within the App at the top right on "More" and then select "Settings"

2. The next submenu contains in the entry "Notifications ". Select this.

3. Make sure that the master control for the emails notifications is enabled

4. Now type at the bottom on your e-mail account that is marked through your mail address

5. Make sure that the alerts are activated or switch them to "Active"

Then you should be notified of any new e-mail message that arrives at your Samsung Galaxy S7.

In the last sub-menu you can also set for the e-mail account even if the smartphone to vibrate thereby or which e-mail notification sound to be played. By default, this is the "Letter" sound.

On the Samsung Galaxy S7 you can be informed about the arrival of new notifications, such as SMS, WhatsApp messages or calls via camera LED flash.

When enabled within the Android operating system, the camera LED light will flash on the back of the housing at regular intervals to inform you about unread notifications.

If you still do not know how to enable the flash notification on the Samsung Galaxy S7, then we would like to explain it here in more detail:

1. Open to on the Samsung Galaxy S7 the app menu and then the Settings

2. Scroll down and tap on the entry "Accessibility"

3. In this submenu choose the entry "Hearing"

4. You will see the option "flash notification". Enable it by switching the regulator to on.

From now on you will be informed about new notifications on the Samsung Galaxy S7 by flashing of the camera LED. So you should not miss any new message or call more.

If you have already installed the new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on your Samsung Galaxy S6, then you have now also the possibility to turn the rapid charging function off within the device settings.

2. Scroll down until you see the menu item "Battery". Tap on this entry.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 can be rapidly charged with the supplied charging cable. Compared to the previous charging cable an method, the smartphone is almost fully charged within an hour.

However, it is disputed whether the quick charge function will shorten the life of the internal battery. Why should the life time of the battery can be shortened? This assumption comes from the R/C hobby sector.

Here batteries with very high charging currents are charged because they have much more capacity than a cell phone battery. It is known that in these dimensions of charging currents, the life of R/C Model Li-Po batteries will be reduced.

Usually the cause is the overheating of cells that are located in the center of the battery. These become during the quick charge very hot and are heated by the surrounding cells. The cells in the center of the battery are thus permanently damaged and can no longer supply power.

Therefore it is recommended to charge R/C Lipo batteries with a lower charging current. Then the battery is hardly heated.

But this subject of RC batteries cannot be allocated on smartphone batteries. Background is that the batteries are much smaller and the heat problem does not behave like a R/C Model Battery. In addition, the battery technology evolved and the battery cells are not so easily broken if they overheat.

But we doubt this new fact a little bit. Because the overheating of a battery during charging can be avoided only by cooling. Since the battery of the Samsung Galaxy S7, as well as with any other smartphone is integrated in the housing and the heat dissipation is less than good, the battery is insufficiently cooled during the charging process.

Anyway, only after a large time interval it can be seen if the quick charge function shortens or lengthens the battery life time.

It is interesting that Samsung has integrated a function into the Android interface, in which the rapid charging function can be disabled. You know now a little more about rapid charging and why a battery can get broken during quick charge. So the decision to use that function is yours.
