The On-Body detectionin Android Lollipop allows that the smartphone is unlocked as long as you keep it in your hand or carry in your pocket. Every time when you put your device on a table the lock enables itself and you need your pin again to unlock the lock screen of your smartphone.

The On-Body detectionis therefore a very useful feature to not always use the pin or the fingerprint sensor if you want to use the phone.

The camera of the iPhone 6 can record videos with a frame rate of 60 frames per second. However, this setting is not enabled by default on the iphone 6, since the video capture at 60 fps needs twice as much disk space as the recording at 30 fps. Every time you areusing the Power On/ Off button to lock the iPhone 6, you will hear a sound that announces you that the lock screen is activated. To do this, navigate to the following submenu of your iPhone 6:

From the home screen of the iPhone 6 go to: Settings --> Sounds

Scroll all the way down in this submenu. Here you will find the option "Lock sounds". Disable the option via the controller.

When you activate the lock screen on your iPhone 6 using the Power On/ Off button you will now hear no sound.

If you receive a new SMS message on your iPhone 6, then it will be displayed as a preview on the lock screen. So you can already read what the content of the message is without to unlock the iPhone 6.

This is useful, but each person can read what the content of the message is without needing to unlock the phone. So if you have this message preview on the lock screen of the iPhone 6 and do not want to use it, then do the following steps to disable it on your iPhone 6:

From the Home screen, open the settings, and then:

Notifications --> Messages

Scroll down a bit until you see the section "Message Options". The option "Show Previews" can be found there. Now disable the option by the controller on your iPhone 6.

From now on you will not see the content of a new message on the lock screen of your iPhone 6.

Therefore, please check on your iPhone 6 that the following setting is disabled before doing a trip to a foreign country. You can do this in iOS as follows:

Open on the iPhone 6 the settings and then select "Network". In this menu you can now find the "Data Roaming" option. The switch must be set here to the"Off" position. This is the only way to ensure that no mobile data will be used by your iPhone 6 abroad.

If you get on your iPhone 6 a new call or a new SMS message and you notice that your photo LED flashes, then you have the option "LED flash for alerts" enabled. This option in iOS helps you to identify new notifications quickly by the flash light, especially when the sound is turned off or you have impairments in hearing. However in most cases this LED flash alert is not needed and which is why we show you how you can disable it on the iPhone 6. Proceed as follows in iOS:

Open the settings and then: General --> Accessibility --> Section "Hearing"

You will now see the option "LED flash for alerts". Slide the controller to "Off" to disbale this option on your iPhone 6.

You will from now on not receive any flash notification by the Photo light on your iPhone 6 now.
