If you have installed an app on the Samsung Galaxy S5 and this causes problems during uninstalling, then we here show you a trick on how to fix this problem. In general, there is a serious problem with the app, if it can not be deleted from the Samsung Galaxy S5. So you have to boot the smartphone in the so-called  "Safe Mode". In this mode the app can be uninstalled from the Samsung Galaxy S5 very simple. How to boot the Samsung Galaxy S5 in Safe Mode we want to show you here in our article:

Power off the Samsung Galaxy S5 completely. Then keep the power button pressed to boot the smartphone. Once the screen is activated and displays the start logo, immediately hold the volume quieter button. Keep it pressed until the sim-pin is queried. At the bottom left you should now find a field with "Safe Mode". Now type your pin as usual and then tap in the next window at "Touch-Wiz-start" and "Always".

In safe mode, only system applications are loaded at your Samsung Galaxy S5. All other apps will not be loaded and executed by Android. So it is now possible to uninstall the app of the the Samsung Galaxy S5, which can not be erased. Navigates now to:

Menu --> Settings --> Application Manager --> tab "Installed Apps".

Search for the App you want to uninstall from your smartphone and tap on it to open the App-Information-Card. You can see now a button with "Uninstall". Tap on it to delete the app from your device.

Tur turn off Safe-Mode, reboot your Samsung Galaxy S5 now.

Google Play Store Error DF-SA-01 - solution

It is possible that the following error appears in the Google Play Store of your Android smartphone or tablet:

"Error while retrieving information from server: [DF-SA-01]"

If you get this error message in the Google Play Store of your Android smartphone / tablet, then you can try the following troubleshooting that solve this problem in general.

Perform the following steps at your android device:

Step 1: Clear data and cache of the Google Play Store

Navigate with your device into the settings, and then click "Application Manager". Then switch to the "All" tab and search for "Google Play Store". Tap the entry to open the app information. You now see several buttons. Push them in the following order:

     - Force stop
     - Clear cache
     - Clear data

After you've tapped the three buttons, you can close the app information and proceed to the next step:

Step 2: Reset the app preferences

You still find yourself now in the Application Manager on the tab "All". Tap now at the top right on the three-point icon and select "Reset app preferences" . A warning message appears. This can be confirmed with the Button "Reset apps".

Done! If you now open the Google Play Store on your Android smartphone, the message "Error while retrieving information from server: [DF-SA-01]" should no longer appear.

If that did not work, you can still try the following:

Step 3 : Uninstall updates of the Google Play Store

Navigate again to Settings --> Application Manager --> tab "All" -> Google Play Store

Tap this time at the button "uninstall updates". Then reboot the phone. The Google Play store should now be opened without the error DF-SA-01.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has for the first time the possibility to create a so-called Screenshot note. A screenshot note consists of two components:

   -  a screenshot
   -  a handwritten note with the S-Pen

This feature is especially useful when you save an additional information, idea or suggestion on a screenshot. With the S-Pen a handwritten note can be added directly on the screenshot. We show you now, how the Screen-Write function can be used at the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Navigate to the location where you would like to take the screenshot note. If the corresponding image is displayed on the screen, take the S-Pen and press the button on it to open the S-Pen command field. Now tap:

      - Screen Write

The screenshot will be performed at your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and then the edit mode will open. You can now add a note to the screenshot with the S-Pen. You can choose different pens or even use a eraser on the editing toolbar.
