If you have several hundred friends on Facebook and the birthdays will all be displayed in the Calendar app, then this is sometimes annoying. To do this, please complete the following steps:

1. Disable the synchronisation of Birthdays via the Facebook app

Open on your Samsung Galaxy S5, the Facebook app and within the menu (icon with the three horizontal bars). Scroll down to the section "Help & Settings" and type there on "App Settings". In this submenu scroll down to the bottom and tap "sync contacts". Now mark the entry "Synchronize nothing". The tap on the top right button "Finish" to apply the setting for the Facebook app.

Facebook will now synchronize no more contacts in the calendar app splanner. This is important because otherwise if you delete the Facebook Birthdays, they will be synchronized again automatically.

2. Delete Facebook Birthdays from Android Calendar

Open the calendar app S Planner on your Samsung Galaxy S5 and type within this app on the top-right at the three-point symbol. Then type on "Calendars" and remove here at "Facebook" the hook in the checkbox.

You can now close the app again and restart your Samsung Galaxy S5. After the restart you will have no more birthdays from Facebook in the Calendar app  S Planner displayed.

At first, open from the homescreen of your Samsung Galaxy S5 the menu. From there, go to Settings  and then select the entry "Application Manager". It will now open a submenu in which you now have to switch to the tab "all", by wipe through the pages. Now look in the alphabetical list to find the entry "Gallery". When you found the entry, you have to tap it once to open the app  information of the gallery app.

In this information window you can now find various fields. Tap them in this order

It may happen when you install an app from the Google Play store on your Android Smartphone, that the following error message appears:

"Unknown error code 24 during application install"

After the error message appears, the app was not installed and if you retry to install the app on your smartphone the error message will appear again and the download will not start.

What can you do now that the app will be downloaded anyway? We show you now, how you eliminate the error message and how to re-download  and install apps without any problems.

To do this go from the homescreen of your Android smartphone, eg the Samsung Galaxy S5 to the menu and from there into the settings of the system. In the settings, go to "Application Manager" and then on the tab  "All". You will find it to the far right.  Now you will see all the applications and apps in alphabetical order, that are installed on your Android smartphone.

Search for Google Play Store and if you found the entry tap on it to open the app informations. If the app information is open do the following: Press the Buttons in the following order:

Force stop -> Uninstall updates -> Clear data.

Now leave the settings of your Android smartphones and reboot your phone. After your Android smartphone is rebooted open  the Google Play Store as usual and navigate to the app you want to download. Now there shouldnt be no more errors with "Unknown error code 24 during application install" and the apps will be downloaded properly.

The Google Play Store will re-install after a short time the latest version automatically, but actually no more problems shouldnt bepresent. If, despite the unknown error 24 appears again, you have to repeat the process above.

Open on your smartphone the app "Android Wear", with which you can connect your smartphone with the SmartWatch. When you are connected to the clock open the settings within the app. Among them there is the possibility of using "Mute Apps" to disable the notifications by vibration of the SmartWatch on the wrist for certain apps.

A list will appear with all the apps that can send notifications to the SmartWatch. You can now deselect them, so they wont send any notifications to the SmartWatch.

You will then no longer be alerted by a vibration on the wrist each time a new app notification is received by your smartwatch.
