Year 2018

In Android on the Samsung Galaxy S9 you can activate additional options. These are known as developer options or developer mode. Once you have activated these options, they will appear as an entry in the settings menu.

Maybe you don't need them at all and want to hide the developer options again. This seems impossible at first, because there is no corresponding button for it.

Samsung Galaxy S9

Therefore you have to make use of a little trick that hides the developer options again, if you absolutely want it to. Please proceed as follows: Attention! It is possible that your Android settings will be lost! (Depending on the Android version).

Normally this should not be the case. But a backup can never hurt!

1. Open the settings from the start screen

2. Navigate further to "Apps"

3. Search for "Settings" in the list of apps displayed and select the entry

4. Now go to the menu item "Memory" and then to the following button:

  • Delete data

Subsequently, the option "Developer options" is no longer contained in the list of settings. You have successfully hidden them.

Of course you can show them again by using the build number method again. If you don't know how to do this anymore, you can find the appropriate instructions here:

Manuel
Android Smartphones
Year 2018

Smartphones are becoming more and more optimized in the direction that the battery can be charged as quickly as possible. This is why Qualcomm offers the "Quick Charge" standard.

Currently Quick Charge is 4.0+. However, not many smartphones currently support this battery charging standard. However, if you want to buy a charger with Quick Charge 4.0 or 4.0+, there are even fewer offers here.

So that you don't have to search so long for such chargers for your smartphone, we have summarized our recommendation here with Quick Charge 4.0 or 4.0+ chargers:

Chargers with Quick Charge 4.0 or 4.0+

  • PAZZiMO KFZ USB-C charger with Quick Charge 4 Plus
  • PAZZIMO USB-C charger with Quick Charge 4
  • Plus Hama charger "Qualcomm®
  • Quick Charge™ 4+" Razer Wall Charger for Phone

Unfortunately, these are currently the only chargers that support QC 4.0 or better.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy S9 and want to take great 360° panoramic pictures with it, you might be surprised that there is no special camera mode for it in the camera app anymore.

No problem, because fortunately there are apps in the Google Play Store that allow you to take such 360° panoramic shots. The following apps are perfectly suited for photospheres with the Samsung Galaxy S9 and can be recommended:

  • Panorama 360 THETA+

These two apps can be used to record photospheres.

The photographed spheres can then be published on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for example.

A cool gimmick, which should not be missing on a Samsung Galaxy S9.
