Especially in summer you are often swimming at a lake, a river or in an outdoor pool and often have your head under water. Some water then flows into the ear and, depending on the anatomy, it remains there even after bathing.

This can be very annoying, because you can only hear dull. But getting the water out of your ear is not that easy. Therefore you may ask yourself the question:

How do I get water out of my ear after bathing?

1. Stand straight
2. Tilt your head in the direction where water is in the ear (to the right or to the left)
3. Start jumping slowly

After a few "jumps, notice how the water slowly moves in the direction of the ear outlet.

Keep jumping until the water has flowed out of the ear. If you are in pain, you should stop immediately and consult a doctor.

This method almost always works when water remains in the ear and is not harmful.

The Smartwatch Samsung Gear S3 can give you different messages on the display. These include, for example, the message "Check your phone". This message can be displayed for WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

If this is the case for you overnight, then this usually has to do with an update of the corresponding app on your paired smartphone. So it can be that WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook have been updated to a new version.

This is no longer compatible with the app installed on the Samsung Gear S3. Therefore the message "Check your phone" will appear.

Usually the following will help:

Uninstall app updates on the paired smartphone

Proceed as follows: Open the following submenu on your smartphone:

• App Menu --> Settings --> Apps

In the list, search for the affected app, for example "WhatsApp" - Select the entry

It now opens the App Info - Select "Uninstall App Updates" here.

Usually you can find it via the three-point symbol in the upper right corner. (Different depending on Android device)

Afterwards you have installed an older version of the app on your smartphone. This should now work with the Gear S3 as usual.

Please also remember to deactivate the automatic app updates via the Google Play Store, otherwise the latest version will be installed immediately! If this didn't help, just install an older version of the app via APK-Mirror:

"Check your phone" should no longer occur on your Samsung Gear S3 now. You now have to wait until this problem is fixed in the newer version.

The Huawei P20 Pro can be personalized in several ways. But one of the most popular ways is to customize the home screen background. Be it with a photo of the loved one, a landscape, an animal, a vehicle, etc., the background can be personalized.

Such a background image is something beautiful in any case. If you haven't yet found the option to customize this home screen background, please do the following:

1. Return to your home screen

2. Long press your finger on a free area of the home screen

3. It will now shrink and display a menu at the bottom of the screen

4. Here you will find the option "Background"

5. Select this option and then choose a background image which is either pre-installed or which comes from your gallery.

You can also use the "Illusion" slider to blur the background image. To what extent this is an interesting option, everyone must probably decide for himself.

Then you can save the new background image for the home screen.

This will be displayed on the Huawei P20 Pro from now on.

The Huawei P20 Pro offers the possibility to change the transitions of the individual home screen pages via its EMUI Launcher.

This is a feature that has not been integrated into many other smartphones and is therefore a "candy" for all Huawei P20 Pro owners.

Here we'll explain how to change the transitions between the different Home Screen pages on the Huawei P20 Pro:

1. Return to your Home Screen

2. Press and hold a finger on a free space on the Home Screen

3. The Home Screen now shrinks and reveals a ribbon at the bottom of the screen

4. Here you'll find the "Transitions" option - Select it and you can choose from the following different Home Screen transitions:

• Perspective
• Dislodge
• Box
• Windmill
• Mirror
• Rotate Page Default

Now select a start screen transition for the individual pages of the Huawei P20 Pro that most appeals to you.

You will then see this immediately when you jump back and forth between the individual pages.

If you notice that on the start screen and in the menu of the Samsung Galaxy S8 the app icons and symbols are displayed very large, then this usually has a simple background.

In the Android settings there is an option "Simple Mode". If this option is activated, the layout will be reduced and the symbols will be enlarged. The background of this mode is that people without smartphone experience get an easier entry into the Android and smartphone world.

If you have activated this mode by mistake, you can deactivate it and reduce the size of the icons as follows:

1. Scroll to the page with the icon "Settings" on the Home screen and tap it

2. Scroll down to "Display" in the settings menu and select the entry. Search here for "Simple Mode"

3. You can now switch from "Simple Mode" to the "Standard Mode" of Samsung Experience

4. After you have set the marker, tap "Ok" The Android or Samsung Experience interface should now be displayed as usual with smaller icons instead of big ones.

The HTC U12 Plus has the possibility to expand the memory via Micro SD card. This is practical, especially if you always want to have all your data with you when you're on the move.

Another useful function of the memory card is that you can also store data on this app to get space on the internal memory. The Micro SD card is formatted as internal memory as follows.

1. Open the settings on your HTC U12 Plus

2. Under "Portable Memory", select the gear icon next to the name of the Micro SD Memory Card

3. Then navigate to "Format as internal memory"

4. In the next steps, go to "Delete & Format" --> Format.

If you are using the calendar app of the Huawei P20 Pro, then you certainly want to display holidays in your home country or perhaps even in other countries.

This is not the case ex works and therefore we explain here how you can display the holidays.

1. Start from the Home screen and navigate to the list of apps.

2. Search there for "Calendar".

3. Now open the calendar app from Huawei

4. Tap on the symbol with the three bars

5. Select "Settings"

6. Navigate to "Worldwide Holidays"

7. Activate the controller for all countries where you want to see the holidays - Done!

If you now open the calendar view, the holidays of the selected countries will be displayed there.

On the Samsung Galaxy S9 you can see your own phone number under "Phone info". But not with every Sim card or every mobile phone provider.

The reason for this is that the information of the phone number must be stored explicitly on the Sim card so that it can be displayed here.

However, this is only the case with very few Sim cards or only with the Sim cards from a German provider.

What does that mean? This means that some carriers do not have a phone number and therefore on the Samsung Galaxy S9 under "Phone info" this field is displayed with "empty" or "unknown".

Now you know the reason why the Samsung Galaxy S9 displays your phone number as "unknown" or "empty" under "Phone info".
