The AI of the Huawei P20 Pro camera usually takes the best pictures for you in everyday life. However, there are situations in which a photographer wants to achieve certain effects.

For example, photographing a person in front of an arriving subway, where the person is sharp and the subway is blurry. Such a photo would not be possible with the Master AI of the Huawei P20 Pro.

Therefore you have to deactivate this Master AI of the camera for some photos. We would like to briefly describe how to do this here:

1. Open the camera app on your Huawei P20 Pro.

However, you must do this for each additional photo if you want to take pictures without this intelligent shooting function. In most situations, however, it is advisable to use this function.

Leave Master AI always deactivated

Since the last firmware update it is possible to deactivate the Master AI directly in the camera settings. You can find out exactly how this works here:

The Huawei P20 Pro is equipped with a very small notification LED in the middle of the notch and can therefore show the user whether a new notification has been received. If you install apps from the Google Play Store on the Huawei P20, you will notice that they are updated automatically. This is a feature of the Google Play Store. This ensures that the installed app always has the latest version.

The Huawei P20 Pro is one of the best camera smartphones on the market today. That's why it's all the more frightening when you see pink pixels on a photo. You will now ask yourself if the camera is defective or if there is another reason for this.

Here we would like to share our experiences with you. How you deal with it then remains up to you:

Starting position was a photo, which we had on a beautiful day. It was taken in the mountains near a river. The light was very bright.

Following the photo with zoom:

Here you can see the pink pixels. Also otherwise the photo is not exactly outstanding for the good lighting conditions. The file size is amazing:

Almost 12 MB. This also made it easier to find the cause. This is because it is a setting in the camera app of the Huawei P20 Pro.

If you switch on the "Vivid Colors" mode in the camera app, this results in very bright light conditions to photos like the one shown above. This was also reproducible. Our tip about it: Never activates the "Bright Colors" mode.

Otherwise you will be very disappointed when you watch the photos on a TV or in the zoom.

If you notice on your Huawei P20 Pro that you are not receiving any new notifications about e-mails, WhatsApp messages etc., this is probably because you are not receiving them automatically.

So far so good, quickly checked the synchronization under Settings --> Accounts and then found that the following option is unchecked: "Synchronize data automatically".

Now comes a serious problem: The option cannot be activated because it is grayed out. What does that mean?
